Someone must have the councils ear as Hougham Road is being resurfaced between 11 Mar – 2 April in lieu of Doddington Lane. A diversion is in place during the resurfacing (see map above and https://one.network for the route).
I personally believe this road is in much better shape than Clensey Lane/Doddington Lane, but for some reason has priority over Doddington Lane. LCC even prioritised repairs to Littlegates Road before Doddington Lane as this was completed a few months ago.
