For those walking down Fenton Road recently will have noticed a sulphurous smell in the ditch adjacent to the STUBTON road sign.
This is obviously a discharge from the Sewage Works accessed from Stubton Hall. I contacted Anglian Water, who will do what they can to reduce the problem.
Note: That this problem is not related to the 4 blocked drains on Fenton Road, which are also being investigated. Does anyone know where these drain to?
