As we are all aware the storm drains on Fenton Road (3 + St Martin’s Close) are blocked with silt and leaves. This clearly was apparent during the recent heavy rains and historical rains over the last 2 years.
The blockages have been reported numerous times to the following agencies:
- FIX MY STREET (at least 4 times over the last two years).
- CLLR ALEXANDER MAUGHAN
- PARISH COUNCIL
So far no corrective action has taken place. Fix My Street did mention that a work party will be despatched at some point. However, Margaret has discovered who is responsible for the drains and subsequently contacted them. They promised to solve the problem within the month (Subject to Work Load).
